We're off and running! After four years as a Trustee on the DuPage Regional Board of Schools and now in my third term as a County Board Member, I have decided to run for County Board Chairman! The current Chairman, Bob Schillerstrom, has announced he will not seek another term. The vacancy has produced an election cycle that is sure to include vigorous debate among candidates and aggressive outreach to voters, both of which are healthy for democracy. So I say, BRING IT ON!

As the only candidate who currently is a county board member, I am the most involved and updated on the issues. I came onto the board with an agenda for reform, and I have delivered. What Washington and Springfield have failed to do to bring government under control, I have worked with my fellow county board members to accomplish in DuPage County government. And more can be done. That is why I want to be your next County Board Chairman.

I have truly appreciated all the support I have received during my three terms on the County Board. I am honored to work on your behalf, and ask you, your friends and family to join me as I campaign around the County this fall.

We are a county with a proud heritage. We need to maintain that legacy, and also look to the future with innovative thinking and solid guiding principles. I offer you that kind of thinking and doing. I ask for your support to be our next DuPage County Board Chairman.
